Ayo Stuffman has been the driving force behind the current leading position of VAS2Nets Technologies Ltd in the Value Added Service and Financial Services in Nigeria. He has over 18 years experience and in-depth knowledge of convergent communications technology. He is the architect of VAS2Nets' MVAS and Mobile Financial Services Platforms. He has managed several VAS projects and implementations for Telcos within and outside Nigeria and government parastatals in Nigeria.
Ayo Stuffman holds a BSc Computer Science from University of Lagos, and is alumnus of the prestigious Oxford Executive Education, Blockchain Strategy Programme, Oxford FiinTech Programme at Said Business School, University of Oxford and Leadership Programme at Massachusetts Institute of Technology(MIT), Boston. He’s a Distinguished Fellowship of Professional Excellence Foundation of Nigeria [PEFON] and also a Member of Institute of Directors [MIoD], Nigeria. As an active player in mobile value added service in Nigeria he’s member of Nigeria Communication Commission & Central Bank of Nigeria Committee on E-Fraud and also served under NCC Technical Committee.
He's one of the founders of Entrepreneurs' Organisation (EO) of Nigeria which has given birth to EO Lagos and EO Abuja. Ayo was the President, EO Lagos 2017/18 and also serves as EO ambassador in Africa region under the umbrella of Entrepreneurs' Organisation Global.
ED, Business Development
Teniola, as Chief Marketing Officer, oversees overall marketing and strategic planning programs, and corporate communications. Facilitate client development through marketing and client services programs. She works closely with domestic and International content partners and international teams to devise strategies to maximize monetization of VAS2Nets' services and content. She is also responsible for creating competencies within the company for creating in-house User-Generated content.
Prior to joining VAS2Nets, Teniola has worked with some leading media companies like Channels Television, TV Continental, Eko FM, Superscreen TV and Daar Communications Plc.
Executive Director, Business Planning and Strategy
Oliver Opara oversees planning and strategy in VAS2Nets with his astute business sense and wealth of experience. He has a Law degree from the University of Calabar and has been subsequently called to Nigerian Bar. He also has an MBA and attended several courses in Nigeria and abroad. He was a banker for 28 years where he garnered invaluable experience which traversed Operations, Retail, Commercial and Corporate Banking. He retired in June 2020 as the Regional Director in charge of FCMB business in Lagos.
His operating philosophy is to offer innovative solutions to business problems, be it in finance and technology, bringing his experience to bear. His notable achievements have always been turning loss making businesses into profitable businesses. He is a specialist in business reengineering.
Group Chief Technical Officer
Mr. Bello Ismail is the Group Chief Technical Officer of VAS2Nets Technologies Limited, prior to this appointment, he was Head, Software Developer. He is a passionate and astute leader, who has garnered expertise in database design and Implementation, System Analysis and Design, Software Engineering and Programming. He has worked with KITS Technologies as Web Developer/Master before moving to Syssoft Consultant where he served as senior application programmer and Al Indigo as system analyst.
Ismail attended the University of Ibadan where he obtained Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and several other certification having attended executive programs and security information and coding.
Group Chief Finance Officer
Hosea Yashim Boman is a resourceful and self-motivated professional with over 30 years of experience in management, Finance, Banking, Stockbroking, Public Sector and Enterprise Risk Management. He possesses practical skills in Financial & Credit Administration, Risk Control and Corporate Risk Management. Prior to joining VAS2nets Technologies Limited as the Group Chief Finance Officer, he was in consulting with Conrad Clark Nigeria Limited and Outside Insights Professional Services Limited.
For four years he was the Group Chief Risk Officer of Royal Exchange Plc with overall oversight of the enterprise wide risk management function of the Royal Exchange group with five (5) subsidiaries in life, non-life and health insurance as well as micro finance and asset management businesses. Key milestones in this function include a comprehensive review and preparation of a Revised Enterprise Risk Management Framework for the group; development of the Risk Appetite Statements (RAS) for the group and the five (5) subsidiaries; regular preparation and presentation of Risk Management Reports to Management and the Group Board Risk Committee.
Boman was the Managing Director and Chief Executive of Royal Exchange Finance & Asset Management, a non-bank financial institution, organically growing the balance sheet size from ₦350 million in 2009 to ₦1.3 billion in 2013. He has had wide exposure in various Management and Board Committees.
Boman is Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN), Associate of Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers, Authorised Dealing Clerk of The Nigerian Stock Exchange, Associate of Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria, Member Institute of Directors Nigeria (M.IoD) and an Accredited Management Trainer (AMT), certified by Nigeria Centre for Management Development (NCMD). Boman is an alumnus of Lagos Business School (CEP20), IESE Business School Barcelona Spain and the Ahmadu Bello University. He has attended many courses locally and internationally.
Group Head, HR and Admin
Mrs Omobola Sanya started her Human Resources career in Guaranty Trust Assurance (now AXAMansard Insurance Plc), worked in Coca-Cola Hellenic Bottling Company (NBC), MTN Nigeria and Dangote Cement. She joined VAS2Nets Technology Limited as Group Head of Human Resources and Administration Department. Mrs. Sanya has an excellent background and diverse experience in Human Resources, Consulting, Marketing, Corporate Services and Administrative Operations. She has over 20 years HR experience gain from various sectors of the economy – FMCG, Aviation, Telecom, Publishing, Media Production, Manufacturing and Tech which has given her a vast experience in developing and implementing Human Resource strategies to achieve diverse organizational goals in both Nigeria and United Kingdom.
She is a well bred Human Resources person and throughout her HR career she has gained considerable experience in providing advice and guidance to managers and employees alike on all aspects of the employment relationship. She has a track record of excellence in HR, people management skill, effective communication, innovative skills and extensive stakeholder management skills. Mrs Sanya attended the prestigious Queen’s College, Yaba and graduated from the renowned University of Lagos with a B.Sc. in Actuarial Science, and a Master’s Degree in Business Finance from Lincoln University (United Kingdom). She is a certified job evaluator (Hay Group South Africa) and also a certified trained psychometrics Level A (British Psychology Society). She is a full member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel management, Nigeria (MCIPM).
She has attended conferences, seminars, workshops and trainings in Africa and across Europe.
Chief Information Security Officer
Olubunmi is responsible for establishing and maintaining VAS2Nets enterprise vision, strategy, and program to ensure information assets and technologies are adequately protected, he is also tasked with the responsibility of protecting the business from security threats, cyber-hacking and operational compliance to all ISO and other standards/regulations. He has wealth of experience and is a Certified Ethical Hacker, Certified Chief Information Security Officer, Oracle Database Expert, Linux and Cisco Administrator and Telecommunication VAS specialist with thorough understanding of Telecommunication services (Voice, SMS and session based USSD) and has been with VAS2Nets for a couple of years.
He has a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering from Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Oyo State, Nigeria.
Head, Business Operations
Grateful Agbechoma is VAS2Nets’ Business Operations Manager. He joined VAS2Nets in 2018 from one of Nigeria’s leading banks, where he was Product Manager in the Cards and Electronic Banking Group with focus on Mobile Banking. Since joining VAS2Nets, he has overseen the successful implementation of new processes across the Organization while building better ways of managing customers and services. As Business Operations Manager, Grateful leads an unconventional and innovative team focused on creating leading products and services in mobile and financial technology in Africa and other continents.
A natural leader and trainer, Grateful reinvents people to be their best. A Strong Product Management professional with 12+ years of building multi-dimensional experiences and a demonstrated history of leading teams to audacious goals. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering, with professional courses in Leadership, Strategy, Finance, Crises Management, Project Management, IT, Customer Service e.t.c. Grateful has won awards for top performance both at previous work points and other institutions.
Head, Finance and Account Department
Moses, a value added accountant is a qualified member of Institute of Chartered Accountant of Nigeria (ACA) with a current M.sc status in Accounting without relenting in researching. He is an accomplished communicator, with excellent organizational, decision making, and time management skills, and have a proven track record of consistently meeting and regularly surpassing demanding performance goals as usually reported to the Top management for an informed decision making.
His Anxiousness to proffer solutions prove him of being Proactive, innovative, goal getter and highly influential as well as risk manager. His philosophy is 3Rs –Respect yourself, Respect others and you are responsible for your action. Joined V2N in 2021 with wealth of knowledge from Oil and Gas sector which through reflection on various deliverables of ensuring team work success since he joined and always willing to give positive contribution to matters with a learner’s mindset.
Head, Finance and Account Department
Rasaq Olamilekan Sulaimon is a computer scientist by educational qualification and an enthusiastic and innovative software application developer. He holds a bachelor's degree in computer science from Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta and a Masters in Information Technology from the University of Lagos, along with other professional certifications from different professional bodies. Over the years, Rasaq has been able to gather extensive experience through continuous delivery of innovative software solutions and personal training to achieve greater knowledge scope, which he has been able to skilfully apply to meet the demands of his role as the team lead (software development).
Head, Finance and Account Department
Batunde is an Energetic and experienced graduate of Accounting; a member and student of relevant professional bodies, with over 10years experience in Accounting and Auditing. He has worked in Health Insurance sector, Hospitality and currently in Telecommunication/Fintech industry. His exposure includes certificates and training in Auditing and Investigation, Enterprise Risk management, Quality management system (QMS), Data protection and Management.
Batunde is highly organized and methodological in character also with good interpersonal and relationship skills and an excellent team spirit. Highly reliable and dependable at all times and often willing to accept new responsibilities within a wide range of employment areas. His approach to work is active and dynamic towards getting things done with professional ethic and emotional intelligence with good eyes of attention to details.
Head, Project Management Office
Faith Irabor-Newton is a highly motivated team-oriented project manager. Her detail oriented organizational skills has brought success to all assigned projects. Faith has excellent work ethic, positive values, and remains flexible and decisive under stress. Her strong interpersonal skills are effective with all levels in the organization and across departmental lines to achieve project goals and objectives. Faith’s experience in project management provides strong support and leadership in projects.
She is an expert in applying these Project Management processes initiation, planning, execution, control and closure experience into a project. She has attended various career enhancing training programs in project management in line with the Project Management Institute (PMI) framework. Her personal motto is Growth is the only guarantee that tomorrow is going to get better. Faith holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Madonna University, Nigeria and a Master of Science degree from the University of Lagos, Nigeria.
